Government

The president's executive power grows too much and several parties begin to get upset. Military supports the democratic Senate Majority Leader from New York to help relinquish some of the president's power. As more military power is given to the senator people begin to suspect that the president's own authority is fading and that he should be ruled ineffectual and be impeached. Quickly the president responds by using the executive power he has amassed and bombs Iran with the cooperative factions of the military. The lead senator retaliates with a quick military withdrawal from Iraq and threat to the president that if he attacks Iran any further the people and military of the United States will no longer support him and he will be overthrown.
Or something along those lines...
